do they dismiss back child support in texas?
My ex owes $16000+ just in back child support we aren’t even talking the medical insurance he’s supposed to have on the kids. We go to court on Wednesday. He thinks they will dismiss the back child support. Any comments
That is either self-delusion or a case of wishful thinking on his part because they definitely will NOT dismiss the back child support (they couldn’t without your permission anyway). And he is in for a bigger surprise…that child support debt comes with compound interest and he can’t go bankrupt on it either. I suggest you have your lawyer ask that your ex be put in contempt-of-court and sent to jail. Good luck and let us know what the judge says!
